If you can’t open a webpage, try these suggestions.

- Wait a moment, then try again. If the page still won’t open, quit Safari, reopen it, then try again.
- Choose View > Reload Page. If the page still won’t open, reset Safari.

- Check that you’re connected to the Internet. Try another app, such as Mail, or use Network Diagnostics. If you’re connecting from behind a firewall, contact your network administrator.

- Make sure you’re using the correct URL for the webpage. Try entering “/index.html” at the end of the address. If the webpage has a Bonjour address, make sure the page is on the same local area network (subnet) as your computer.
- Use the latest version of Safari. Check for updates by choosing Apple Menu > Software Update.

- Contact the website’s owner to find out if the webpage can be opened using Safari.
